King back in spotlight on Easter Day Prince named in lawsuit but not accused of wrongdoing
Charles at Palace yesterday
THE King will make his most significant public appearance since being diagnosed with cancer at an Easter Sunday church service.
He will join the Queen at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
But there will be fewer family members after sources said Charles was trying to minimise the risk of infection.
Princess Kate, Prince William and their kids George, Charlotte and Louis will not attend.
The family will spend the Easter holidays together as they adjust to Kate’s cancer diagnosis.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the Mirror’s exclusive that the King was planning to put on a show of unity and stability following his and the Princess of Wales’ illnesses.
Last Friday Kate, 42, revealed she is receiving preventative chemotherapy following an abdominal operation in January.
The King, 75, has had weekly treatment for cancer since last month’s diagnosis and has been carrying out restricted duties.
HARMONY
Yesterday he was joined by UK faith and community leaders as he welcomed the Windsor Leadership Trust at the Palace’s Billiard Room.
The group encourages multifaith dialogue, harmony and understanding.
Last night Camilla, 76, hosted a Clarence House reception to mark a study for her literacy project The Queen’s Reading Room. She welcomed authors, scientists and actors such as Dame Joanna Lumley and Rupert Everett.
The neuroscientific study, out today, suggests reading for just five minutes can reduce stress, improve concentration and help people to feel more connected.
PRINCE Harry has been named in a €28million US lawsuit which alleges hip hop mogul P Diddy used his name to give his sex trafficking parties legitimacy.
Record producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones has accused the rapper – real name Sean Combs – of numerous sexual assault allegations.
His lawsuit against Diddy, 54, and several of his pals and record labels was filed in New York last month.
While Harry, 39, is not accused of any wrongdoing, his name in the suit could lead to him being called to give a sworn statement.
It is understood the Prince only met Combs once, but the rapper ensured that his photo was taken with the royal.
Jones, who claims he was groped, harassed and threatened by Combs, says in the suit that Diddy’s co-defendants were rewarded “for participating in and facilitating Combs’ sex trafficking”.
He states: “Mr Combs was known for throwing the ‘best’ parties. Affiliation with, and or sponsorship of Mr Combs’ sex-trafficking parties garnered legitimacy and access to celebrities such as famous athletes, political figures, artists, musicians and international dignitaries like Prince Harry.”
Jones’ lawsuit names the Duke of Sussex only once and does not suggest that he knew of the allegations or was involved in any way.
Harry posed alongside the rapper as well as Kanye West in 2007 after the two stars had performed at the Concert for Diana at Wembley Stadium in London. Prince William was also in attendance. Combs performed his hit I’ll Be Missing You at the gig, held on what would have been the late Princess’s 46th birthday.
Despite only meeting the Duke once, Combs mentioned him in a 2012 interview.
The rapper said: “I really can’t wait to get to the UK as London is one of my favourite cities.
“I’m also hoping I’ll get to catch up with Prince Harry while I’m there. He’s a cool guy, and it’s about time we

hung out. I need him to take me to some of those wild Mayfair clubs.”
Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided simultaneously on Monday in connection with a sex trafficking investigation. Federal Homeland Security agents executed search warrants for prosecutors.
The hip-hop star, who is facing mounting sexual harassment and rape lawsuits, was nowhere to be seen as agents combed through his properties. At least two men were put in handcuffs at the LA home.
The music mogul has been fighting various legal battles, including one against an unnamed woman who claimed he and two friends sexually assaulted her when she was 17.
His ex-girlfriend Cassie sued him for rape and decades-long physical abuse in November. Diddy, who has stepped down from his company Revolt, settled her suit in less than 24 hours.
Cassie’s filing quickly prompted sexual assault claims from other accusers.
The rapper has vehemently denied the accusations of each of the women.
I’m hoping I’ll catch up with Prince Harry. He’s a cool guy, it’s time we hung out SEAN ‘P DIDDY’ COMBS
