Hamas fighter to Israeli hostage
A TEENAGER held hostage by Hamas was told by one of the gunmen she would marry him and have his children, she has revealed.
Israeli Noga Weiss, 18, was released in a hostage and prisoner release deal after 50 days of hell in captivity, knowing her father Iilan had been murdered.
Ms Weiss said of her captor: “He gave me a ring on day 14 and I stayed with him until day 50. He told me, ‘Everyone will be released – but you will stay here with me and have my children’.”
Her revelation, in an interview with
Israel’s Channel 12, came as the Israeli Defence Forces was last night preparing for a major offensive on the city of Rafah, where it believes Hamas fighters are hiding.
Noga added in the interview: “I pretended to laugh so he wouldn’t shoot me in the head.”
She also said Hamas even brought in her mother Shiri – who she had believed was dead – so she could approve of the so-called marriage.
Instead Shiri, also now free, shouted at the Hamas militant, Noga said. She also said captives were not given enough water.
Noga said that as long as there are hostages in the Strip, she cannot mourn her father, adding: “People don’t understand the feeling of fear.
“I was 50 days, 24/7, with the thought that they would get tired and come shoot me.” Yesterday the Mirror witnessed intense military activity on Gaza’s southern border as reserve IDF battalions were brought to the front line.

Lebanese group Hezbollah fired at an Israeli military convoy in a disputed border area.
The IDF said a civilian was killed. In Lebanon, more than 350 have died.
It is feared an attack on Rafah will mean Hezbollah and other Iranian proxies retaliate.
