Both the jump trainers’ and jockeys’ titles have gone down to the wire, and we’re set for a brilliant finale to the season at Sandown.

In the opening contest (1.50), there’s been money around for hughie morrison’s secret squirrel and, at bigger prices, an bradan Feasa.

Barring a miracle, mullins is likely to have the trainers’ championship sewn up by the time Impaire et Passe lines up in the Select hurdle (4.10), where he faces Langer Dan again after narrowly getting the better of that rival at aintree.

the Dan Skelton runner gets weight from his main rival here, and is solid in the market at 3-1. Impaire et Passe is at evens.

In the final two races, nickle back is a strong 5-2 favourite in the novices’ handicap chase (4.45), while in the finale two have been supported at big prices, with bad 9-1 from 10-1 and mahons GLORY 14-1 from 18-1.
