HAYLEY’S PLAN IS UNRAVELLING...
In this week’s trip to Carrigstown, Hayley agrees to spend time with Anto at the fundraiser to keep her mind off James.
Georgie, meanwhile, recruits Gwen to protect him from what he perceives to be Sharon and Anto’s “advances”.
Later, James turns up unannounced at Hayley’s door, much to Anto’s annoyance. And when Anto leaves, Hayley and James share another passionate kiss.
Elsewhere, Anto and Liam find common ground in their dislike of James.
Meanwhile, Georgie panics when Gwen leaves him alone with Anto and Sharon, who invite him back to the house.
And later Sharon lets an embarrassed Georgie know the offer to move in still stands.
Later in the week, Sharon and Anto resign themselves to the fact that James is back in Hayley’s life while Liam meets with Rafferty to discuss plans for the youth café.
James, meanwhile, grows fed up with Rafferty’s dismissive attitude while Hayley is annoyed when Rafferty continues giving her the cold shoulder at work.
Later, James is thrown when Hayley suggests they take over the business from Rafferty.
He agrees but then has second thoughts about sidelining Rafferty. But Hayley convinces him they should meet with the company’s financial backers without Rafferty.
And she promises to prioritise the youth cafe if Liam distracts Rafferty.
Rafferty, though, is suspicious of James and Hayley’s games and presses them on their intentions.
And James and Hayley’s plan to oust
Rafferty is interrupted by the arrival of James’s mother, Emma.
James is left unnerved by her presence as she domineers Rafferty and flatters Hayley.
But Rafferty is suspicious when Emma is cagey about her sudden arrival and feels put out when Emma bonds with Hayley and James.
Liam, meanwhile, is forced to put helping a troubled young man on hold to meet Rafferty.
Also this week, a sleep deprived Jess realises she left Taylor’s mobile at Babs’ house.
With no other option, Jess decides to collect the mobile from home but feels rejected when Babs ignores her.
Jess tries to convince herself that she’s happy with her new family.
Later, Jess is pleasantly surprised when Steo invites Ruby around for dinner but she is thrown when Babs and Greg share a sweet moment with Taylor in the Community Centre.
