But during a vicious showdown, Eddie and George trade wounding words, which send George deeper into despair.

Elsewhere, Johnny, Linda, Sharon, Denise and Stacey meet to discuss making their plan watertight while Jean tries to comfort Jade, who struggles to comprehend Dean’s actions.

Elsewhere, yolande is busy organising the fundraiser with Pastor Clayton when Patrick arrives home.

As they catch up, Pastor Clayton is irritated thatyolande’s focus has been diverted. Patrick is stunned to hear that Denise is living at Phil’s and later confronts cheating Jack.

However, Denise asksyolande not to tell Patrick about her hospital stay, and he soon becomes suspicious that they are keeping something from him.

Later in the week, George wakes up on Phil’s sofa battered and bruised.

Elaine, Anna and Gina are horrified to see the state of him when he returns and he lies that some thugs jumped them.

Later, George tries to make some headway against Eddie, but a knockback sends him spiralling again.
