WEDDING DISASTER
In this week’s Emmerdale, Amy and Matty can barely contain their excitement for their wedding while Kerry hopes a second opinion on her necklace will yield the money she needs to pay for their wedding.
She hides from Suzy but when Suzy tracks her down she insists she has one last chance to pay up for the wedding or it’s off.
The following day Kerry prays her necklace’s value will be worth enough to salvage the wedding.
Meanwhile, over at Home Farm, Leyla and Suzy prepare the venue but there’s still so sign of payment from Kerry.
Oblivious, Matty and Amy arrive for their wedding rehearsal and as it gets underway, Kim shows up demanding her full payment for the venue.
Back in the village, Kerry’s defeated after earning a pittance for her necklace and Pollard’s shocked she won’t be able to pay for the wedding.
Kerry braces herself knowing she needs to admit the truth.
The next day, the wedding party excitedly gets ready for the big day but they’re brought back down to earth when Kerry finally reveals she can’t actually afford to pay for it.
Matty’s blindsided by the news the wedding is off but after taking a mystery call, Leyla announces the wedding is back on and the guests stand as Amy sets off down the aisle.
Also this week, Jacob tries to hide the news of a six-week placement in Berlin from Victoria but she knows he has turned it down in order to stay with her and worries he’s missing out on his future.
Soon Leyla’s bemused when Liam tells her about the placement. And Victoria is embarrassed as she explains to Leyla, Jacob has not taken it in order to remain close to her.
Both worry Jacob’s relationship with Victoria will limit his life so soon Victoria makes a big decision.
And finally, when Tom thinks he’s missing out on a veterinary work trip he’s upset. But Vanessa saves the day for him and Tom prepares for the trip.
