BEST MEMORY

-

My dog, who was a little Shih Tzu, just passed away about a month ago. He was 15. My favourite memory is actually the day that we got him — I was out and my parents got him. I came in through the front door, and he was just there — he was just this little ball of fluff, running across the floor. He was the cutest little ball of fluff that I’ve ever seen. And I remember being completely infatuated with him from that moment on. I just loved him the minute I saw him, and I always remember that memory of him just wobbling across the world when I saw him.

He was so cute.

BEST ACTOR/ACTRESS I love Daniel Day Lewis, he blows me away in all of his movies. I think that watching him is like a masterclass in acting, with how di erent his characters all are and the preparation that goes into it. He’s just really inspiring and super talented. Jim Carrey as well, the same thing. They’re both kind of method actors, both incredible in their own way. And Cate Blanchett, she is super, super talented. I love her movies, and I think she’s very inspiring as well.

BEST GIG

I am The Killers’ number one fan, I love them. Any of their concerts that

I’ve been to have been memorable.

The one that stands out the most for me was they played the RDS — it was a super lovely day, it was really sunny, it was all outdoors and people in Tallaght could hear them, I saw it online the next day; people all over the county could hear them. It was crazy. But they were just phenomenal.

BEST JOKE My niece, she’s seven. Her name is Penny. She thinks she’s a little stand-up comedian and she’s full of jokes — I got a joke o her. Why was Harry Potter sent to the o…ce? For cursing. She thought it was hilarious.

BEST HOLIDAY A couple of years back, I spent a month traveling around Japan. That was so interesting. We went to all the big cities — Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka — and got a monthly pass for the bullet train, so we traveled around everywhere.

BEST RESTAURANT

There’s one meal at the moment that I’m loving. There’s a gastropub near where we live in

Glasnevin, and they’re doing one of my favourite dishes at the minute — if we were going out for food, I constantly ask if we can go here to get this prawn linguine. It’s so good. I’m obsessed with it.

I’ll give you a few, if that’s OK. My number one pals would be my sisters, they would be my go-to girls — they’re really supportive. I’m the youngest, so they’ve always looked out for me. They have done for my whole life; we’ve always looked out for each other. And then I have my niece, who’s kind of like a fifth sister, Kayleigh — she was a bridesmaid at my wedding, the maid of honour and all that; she would be a best pal. And then I’ve my group of friends from where I’m from — Kate, Lisa and Stephanie — and my husband, also!

BEST ADVICE: You just do you. That would be my advice. Just be on your own path, follow your own dreams and stick to your own goals — don’t be minding any of the noise outside. Focus on you, and you’ll be much happier, I feel, in life.
