GRAHAM Norton has hailed locals in west Cork for keeping his big summer wedding bash “a secret”.

In July, the Bandon native tied the knot to Scottish filmmaker Jonothan (Jono) McLeod.

McLeod has directed a number of documentaries for major UK TV networks and debuted his first feature film at the Sundance Film Fest earlier this year.

Norton and McLeod kept their relationship private, with only close friends and colleagues aware of it.

And Graham said he was very grateful that locals in west Cork kept their wedding secret as the couple took over the famous Bantry House for a big celebration with over 120 friends and family, including singer Lulu and drag queen Panti Bliss.

Speaking live on the Australian talk show The Project, Graham said: “It was a big party in west Cork, the people were really supportive and kept it all a big secret.
