Conte feels right at home

ANTONIO CONTE has fired up his players ahead of tomorrow’s north London derby by insisting he’s at Tottenham for the long haul.

The Italian has been linked with a move back to his former club Juventus.

But Conte (right) has told his current club’s chairman and director of football he feels more at home at Spurs.

“The most important thing for me is that I’m really enjoying working (left) with Tottenham, with these players, especially, and the relationsh­ip with (chairman) Daniel Levy and (director of football) Fabio Paratici is good.

“I’m OK — I think the club is happy about this situation.”

Spurs, unbeaten this season, go to leaders Arsenal for the lunchtime kick-off knowing a win will take them top of the table.

Conte signed for 18 months when he joined in November 2021, with the club able to exercise a one-year extension at the end of this season.

The 53-year-old Italian said it is not about the contract and that he will sit down for talks between now and the end of the campaign.

Conte added: “If the club and the manager want to work together, they will continue to work together.
