A COURT in Germany has convicted a 19-yearold man and his 17-yearold girlfriend of murdering her parents.

The court in Bayreuth jailed the man for 13 years and six months for stabbing the couple to death last January.

Both victims, aged 51 and 47, were doctors.

Their daughter was sentenced to nine-and-a-half years in prison.

Judges concluded the girl’s “hatred” for her parents had been the driving force behind the killings.
