McGregor has returned to training with UFC bouts filling up already for the rest of 2023.

The incendiary comments come despite the UFC star once warning people not to f*** with Neeson in a 2015 interview before he fought Jose Aldo.

“Don’t ever f*** with Liam Neeson. Motherf***er will come get you and your whole family, f*** you all up,” McGregor told TMZ in reference to Neeson’s appearances in Taken.

Neeson will seemingly not be interested in McGregor’s UFC comeback story, as he is set to make his return later this year after breaking his leg in a July 2021 defeat by Dustin Poirier, and narrowly missing death in a car crash.

The legendary UFC fighter has been ramping up his training for a comeback, and was cycling through the Irish countryside when a driver hit into him from behind, leading to him being sent from his bike.

Potatoes

Liam also opened up on his love for potatoes — and blamed being Irish for that.

“[I eat] fruits and vegetables. I gave up meat a year ago. And I make sure there’s always a potato on my plate. Being Irish, potatoes get a bad rap. It’s the butter. Potatoes are healthy. And they keep my people in Ireland alive!”
