REMAKE IS DEAD GOOD New survival horror lives up to all the hype

-

THREE men were stranded on a desert island.

They had been there for many years and had become good friends. One day a lamp washed up on shore and out popped a genie. The genie looked at them and decided to grant each of them one wish. Without hesitation, the first man practically screamed; “I wish I was back home with my family!”. Poof! The first man disappeared and was reunited with his wife and kids.

The second man had no family but knew exactly what he wanted. “I wish I was home!”. Poof! The second man was deposited back to his home.

The third man had no family or home and was struggling to think of a good wish. A beautiful woman would be nice, but she would probably hate him for stranding her on the island. He could perhaps, wish for a mansion but then he would be stuck on the island. He began racking his brain for the perfect wish. A loopholes for more wishes, or everlasting life, or the ability to fly, or, or, or..

The genie was growing impatient and demanded that he make his wish.

“Dammit,” exclaimed the man. “I wish my friends were here to help me to decide.”

MY coworkers laugh at my jokes in in-person meetings, but never in online meetings.

When I asked them why, they said that my jokes weren’t remotely funny.

It Hertz.

After all the hype, the Dead Space remake is finally here — and does it live up to the hype? Oh boy, does it ever.

The EA Motive Studio team have completely rebuilt the game adding detail and a few changes that will pack plenty of surprises for even the most hardcore fans of the franchise.

You play repair engineer Isaac Clarke who has docked with the USG Ishimura for routine work. Upon boarding, you find disaster, horror… and a missing girlfriend.

Developers have kept the essence of the game while making enhancements to the gameplay, game detail, and atmosphere.

The Dead Space remake really has delivered, allowing seasoned gamers the chance to revisit a classic game in more detail, and new ones to experience the horror onboard the USG Ishimura like never before!

Beautiful, horrific, and smooth, this may be one of the best remakes to date.

On the surface, a turn-based fantasy hex game sounds like it’s going to have a lot of rules and a lot more buttons – and you wouldn’t be wrong.

But with SpellForce: Conquest of Eo, even if you’re a total newbie, everything comes rather seamlessly, with new elements introduced as you encounter them rather than as one barrage of information.

You start with a small tower and a quest to find out what happened to your master, then before long, you’re commanding a vast army, facing off against monsters and exploring a map filled with secrets and treasures.

The story does leave something to be desired and sometimes the tutorials assume that you know what you’re doing already, but it’s not impossible to overcome and once you get in the flow of it, it’s really hard to stop playing.

This turn-based fantasy story is oddly addictive, even for total newcomers

A cute and exciting concept, this game with its fashion-led shooting missions is very different, and the classic graphics are great, but ultimately, much like said graphics, the game falls a little flat.

Unintuitive, with repetitive missions it both needs a better tutorial process and more complicated stages to really engage a player.

We loved the story of this and the funny lines, and the characters are certainly entertaining, but if you want an exciting FPS this may not be for you.

Fashion fun that falls flat.
