Kerry looks into options for babies
New Aslan singer’s first TV show with band
KERRY Katona has said she’s allowed her fiance to have a baby with another woman.
The former Atomic Kitten star (43), who already has five children from previous relationships, shared that she doesn’t see herself having more kids with her fiance, Ryan Mahoney.
Option
Kerry revealed she and Ryan, who doesn’t have any kids of his own, have looked into surrogacy and said it’s “now or never” to have another baby.
She also confessed she’s considered freezing her eggs, “as a birthday present for Ryan”, and then using a surrogate, but they both view IVF as just an option, not a must-do.
ASLAN’S new singer Lee Tomkins made his first TV appearance with the band as they appeared on Virgin’s Six O’Clock Show.
Tomkins, who hails from Glasnevin in Dublin, is a seasoned performer having supported acts like Bon Jovi, Razorlight and The Coronas throughout his career.
Band members Joe Jewell, Alan Downey and Billy McGuinness confirmed earlier this month that 37-year-old Tomkins is the band’s new singer as they prepare for their upcoming comeback tour.
Their appearance on yesterday’s Six O’Clock Show was their first performance on TV without Christy Dignam, who died last year.
They performed the song Precious from the band’s Here Comes Lucy Jones album released in 1997.
Previously the band said the announcement of their new singer and upcoming comeback tour came with “mixed emotions,” as it’s their first tour without Christy.
Illness
Christy (63) died on June 13 last year after a long illness.
“After 40 years of playing with our front man Christy, we absolutely know it’s not the same and never will be but we want to continue playing our music and bringing our music to you,” the band said.
They kick off their Irish tour in Cork next month.
