RTE ORCHESTRA’S COHEN NIGHT

-

AFTER a sold-out concert at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in April 2022, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra is set to take the stage at Dublin’s 3Arena for an even grander event.

They will celebrate Leonard Cohen’s songs in a very special 90th Birthday Celebration Concert on September 21. This event will be conducted by Gavin Maloney.

Tickets for this extraordinary event will be available for purchase starting this Friday at 9 am, exclusively at www.singularartists.ie.

Between 2008 and 2013, Leonard Cohen treated Ireland to many performances, with six held at the 3Arena. His Irish farewell unfolded over two poignant nights in September

2013 at the 3Arena.

IT was a weekend of collabs at Coachella, and none more wild than Reneé Rapp and Kesha’s.

The California girls teamed up for a furious version of Kesha’s 2009 hit Tik Tok, but instead of singing “Feeling like P. Diddy” they changed the words to “F**k P. Diddy” in relation to various rumours surrounding the rap mogul.

DOJA Cat delivered a purrfect ending to weekend one at Coachella.

Not only did the rapper perform hits Say So and Kiss Me More, but she also brought out guests 21 Savage and A$AP Rocky. Her typically intense set also featured several looks including a trip-hazard blonde wig and a fluffy two-piece.

Bebe Rexha was in charge of warming up the crowd for Doja and she did so by previewing two club-heavy tracks.

SLAP-happy Will Smith made a surprise return to the stage at Coachella.

The actor donned his MIB suit and shades for a rendition of soundtrack hit Men In

Black during J Balvin’s set.

They brought out dancing green aliens and ray guns as Will rapped: “Hypnotizer, neuralyzer, vivid memories turn to fantasies!”

Bet Will wishes he had a real-life neuralyzer to make the world forget that Oscars slap back in 2022!
