TUAM auctioneer, Martin Tyrell is bringing a range of properties to the market in Galway, writes Jim O’Brien.

These include 104ac farm at Feeragh, Belclare. Located about 8km from Tuam and 24km from Galway the farm is in one unit it has roadway access from the main road.

The property is described as good grazing land with nice shelter belts. It is on the private treaty market with a guide price of €700,000 or over €6,700/ac.

Mr Tyrell is also handling the sale of a 41ac residentia­l farm, at Mahanagh, Lavally, Tuam. Located near Clonberne and Glenamaddy the farm is 12km from Tuam.

The residence is a three-bedroom farmhouse with a good yard. The lands are mainly grazing and are in good heart. This parcel is guided at €275,000 or over €6,700/ac.

Roadside lands

Also on the private treaty market is a 27ac parcel of ground at Ballagh between Dunmore and Tuam. This mixed quality roadside land is guided at €125,000 or over €4,600/ac.

Meanwhile, a 57ac farm made up of mixed lands with farm buildings near Galway city is for sale by private treaty with a guide price of €210,000.

Located at Cinn Uisce about 3km from Claregalwa­y and 12 km from the city, the holding is made up of 25ac of ground suitable for tillage or grazing, while a 32ac piece in an SAC area suitable for grazing.

Mr Tyrell is also handling the sale of a 32ac residentia­l farm at Brownesgro­ve about 6.5km from Tuam. The property includes a two-storey house and 32ac of land in roadside divisions.

This property will be sold at auction with a guide price of €14,000/ac which is a strong price for the area.
