-

LAND in south Tipp is continuing to make strong money commanding anything from €15,000/ac to €20,000/ac. Cashel Marts and GVM are handling the sale of a 71ac residential holding at Clareen, Cashel. The pre-auction price is guided at €10,000/ac.

Located 10 minutes north of Cashel the farm is described as a fine holding with good land and a single storey residence in need of substantial refurbishment.

It will be offered for sale in two lots with the first lot comprised of the house on 33ac with road frontage.

This part of the farm is laid out in eight fields and according to Tom Crosse has excellent road frontage and comes with a range of dated but useful out-offices along with an electricity supply and a septic tank.

The second lot is made up of 38ac of good quality ground. This portion again is laid out in eight fields but without road frontage having access from a lane.

This is described as good south Tipperary ground with plenty of potential and will draw a lot of customers from surrounding farms.

The place will be sold at auction at the Horse and Jockey Hotel at 3pm on Wednesday, April 11.
