BPS refund of ¤13m released

A BASIC Payment refund of over €13.2m will be paid to approximately 97,000 farmers, Agriculture Minister Michael Creed announced yesterday.

This money was deducted from their 2016 Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) payments under the Financial Discipline rule, and is now being reimbursed.
