Take a plunge on a lakeside property
THIS seems to be the year for lakeside properties. In the course of the last number of months quite a few farms with lake shoreline have come for sale around the country.
Tuam’s Michael Mannion of Sherry Fitzgerald Mannion is handling the sale of a 48.5ac residential farm on the shores of Lavally Lake, 10km west of Tuam between the N63 and the N83. The place is on the private treaty market with a guide price of €450,000.

According to Mr Mannion the farm is expected to attract good local interest from those who are eager to add to their existing holdings but may be of interest to someone looking to buy an attractive and manageable lakeside holding.
