AWARD-WINNING RAM STAR OF SUFFOLK SHOW

SHEEP from leading flocks, and a multi-award-winning ram, are central to the South of Ireland Branch of the Suffolk Sheep Society stand inside the front door of the NSBA Sheep Tunnel, where all visitors and breeders are welcomed to view the excellent display.

The exhibition includes a pen of pedigree Suffolk ewe lambs bred by Philip Lynch, of the Glyde Flock, and a pen of Suffolk X Cheviot ewe lambs owned by Ann and Dan O’Mahony, Ballygarvanstud flock, as well as a Purebred Registered Suffolk Stock Ram, Burnview the Duke, from Mr Lynch’s flock.

This Suffolk Stock Ram has won many awards and prizes. First in his class

Donnacha Lynch with the Female Champion at the 2018 National Show, exhibited by Philip Lynch, Sea Bank, Castlebellingham, Co Louthat the Suffolk National Championships in Kilkenny, he has secured Suffolk Champion at Tullamore, Dundalk, Athlone and Oldcastle shows.Long-established Suffolk breeders will be on hand to advise, discuss and encourage all farmers in the merits of the Suffolk.
