CHAROLAIS SOCIETY SHOWCASE NAPOLEON

-

TWO National Show Champions will be central to the attractions for livestock farmers at the Irish Charolais Cattle Society stand located at Block 1, Row 19, Stand 395.

The fabulous Drumshane Mademoiselle, multiaward-winner and current Overall Show Champion, from the herd of the Feeney brothers from Bostonia, Enniscrone, Co Sligo, and Brocca Napoleon, from the herd of John Barry Moran at Fardrum, Athlone, Co Westmeath are superb examples of the characteristics of the breed.

The society will also showcase top-quality commercial Charolais cattle, including the best pen of Charolais weanlings from the All-Ireland Super Suckler Cow & Calf Competition which took place in Bonniconlon Show in early August.

Like every year, the society will hold a raffle on their stand for a wellbred Charolais heifer, with all proceeds going to charity.

This year, the society is donating Clenagh Majesty, bred by the Quin family from Co Clare, one of the most successful breeders of show and sale-ring leaders over the past year.
