-

JORDAN Auctioneers are handling the sale of c32ac of grassland with mature timber shelter at Martinstown, The Curragh in Co Kildare. Regarded as a valuable piece of ground it is guided at €12,000/ac.

The holding is 7km from Kilcullen, 10km from both Kildare and Newbridge and within easy access of the M7 and the M9.

It will be offered for sale in three lots with the entire 32.247ac making up the first lot. The second is a 1.6ac parcel with mature hedgerows and a stream running along its boundary. This could, with the proper planning permission, make an ideal site for a residence.

The third lot is comprised of 30.64ac of grassland but is also fit for ploughing. Described by Clive Kavanagh as a lovely bit of ground, it comes with extensive road frontage.

The place will be sold at auction at The Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge at 3pm on Wednesday, September 26.
