The place is described as the best of grazing ground with plenty of road frontage, laid out in eight manageable fields and serviced by a cattle crush and pen. According to Mr Naughton, bidding has been very keen and he expects it to make over €200,000 or around €8,000/ac.
In the recent past, Mr Naughton concluded the sale on a 12ac residential farm at Grange, near Fourmilehouse in Roscommon.
The property made €145,000 or an estimated €7,250/ac for the land and €60,000 for the house.
