Lottie in secret weekend wedding

LOTTIE Ryan had a surprise for 2fm listeners yesterday morning – revealing that she had married her long-term partner Fabio Aprile over the weekend.

The radio star (30) and the actor (pictured inset) tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at a registry office in front of their family and close friends.

They are planning a bigger celebration in Italy later this year.

Telling her colleagues the news on 2fm’s ‘Breakfast Republic’, the Dubliner said: “I’m good, I’m a wife.”

She added: “It was awesome, it was really good fun. It was very small, just my family and his family, so it was enough. We had a ball, it was great.”

The daughter of the late Gerry Ryan didn’t tell her RTÉ colleagues she would be getting married in the days leading up to the ceremony.

“I’m a dark horse; I’m a sneaky thing so I am,” she said.

When asked whether they will be hearing the pitter patter of little feet anytime soon, Lottie said: “Not yet.”

Her co-workers were shocked when she told them the good news.

Radio host Keith Walsh said: “I came in this morning and said, ‘How was the weekend?’ And she said, ‘Yeah, I got married’. And I was like, ‘What? You got married?’

“I totally missed the whole thing for a moment.”
