Team news: Bohs pair Ismahil Akinade (surgery to remove spleen) and Eoin Wearen (cruciate), remain out.

Talking point: Bhs were superb last Friday where the form of Dinny Corcoran, their striker, made such a difference to the side’s confidence. Corcoran aside, Keith Ward, Derek Pender and their goalkeeper, Shane Supple, were superb. In contrast, Limerick lost heavily at home to Dundalk, and have now gone six league games without a victory.

Team news: Gary McCabe returns from suspension for Bray after missing Friday’s defeat to Bohs, while Drogheda’s Thomas Byrne (dead leg) and Colm Deasy (knee) are doubts.

Talking point: Despite their loss to Bohs last Friday, Bray played with both spirit and class, their defeat largely explained by the excellence of their opponents, and also a degree of misfortune. Providing they show more composure in front of goal tonight then victory should be theirs.

DUNDALK v DERRY CITY

Team news: Dundalk’s Brian Gartland (hamstring), Shane Grimes (muscle) and John Mountney (groin) are all missing but Steven Kinsella returns.

Talking point: Has Dundalk’s luck turned? It certainly seems so. After back to back defeats, they’ve put together back to back victories, impressively defeating Sligo 4-0 and then Limerick 3-0. While the gap to Cork remains huge, if their year in transition ends with a second place finish then it can hardly be called a disaster.
