Fry heartbroken at loss off star Neon Wolf

-

HARRY FRY says stable star Neon Wolf will be ‘irreplaceable’ after the promising six-year-old suffered a fatal injury in a freak accident.

Neon Wolf was one of the stars of the last National Hunt season and was expected to improve this campaign. The ex-Irish point-topointer won his first three starts under rules before being narrowly touched off by Willoughby Court in the Neptune Investment Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.

Fry broke the news of his loss yesterday: “He had the potential to go right to the top and it is hard to come to terms with the fact that he has gone having suffered a complete laceration of his right hind-limb deep digital flexor tendon in a freak accident in his stable.”
