Why you can’t control a cat

-

IN case anyone was in any doubt, the RSPCA in the UK has reminded us that cats and dogs are, in fact, entirely different animals. The caveat came in the form of a warning against the new trend of walking frisky felines on the lead. Apparently, “a sense of control is very important to cats, and being walked on a collar prevents them having control”.

We recently inherited two neighbourhood cats with our house but it’s done nothing to change my mind about the inherently nefarious nature of the average moggie. So I’m not surprised that they don’t like being restrained on a lead. It must be a real drag … you know, when you’re trying to plot the destruction of mankind and all that.
