Companies across Ireland speak about how they’ve innovated to succeed and how membership to Guaranteed Irish has added value to their business

Guaranteed Irish is dedicated to reaching into all corners of Ireland, and to connecting businesses across the country. As the national symbol of provenance and trust, the organisation promotes innovative local businesses through the established GI brand to help them to develop and expand.

Stephen Hughes, Head of Construction for Enterprise Ireland, talks about how Guaranteed Irish helps promote local businesses, “We have some tremendously strong and capable construction products companies here in Ireland. By designating themselves as being manufactured in Ireland with the Guaranteed Irish logo, they are raising awareness to the consumers and hopefully leading to greater levels of sales.”

In addition to promoting its members in B2B and B2C channels, Guaranteed Irish also recognises the positive contribution its members in the construction, manufacturing, hardware and DIY sectors make to local employment, local communities and to the Irish economy as a whole. Brid O’Connell, CEO of Guaranteed Irish, says, “Our members are incredibly hard-working and committed to their local communities. Our innovative members include concrete and quarrying company, Dan Morrissey & Co, and N&C Enterprises which manufactures and supplies decorative aggregates, cobbles, pebbles and rockery stone. They have shown tenacity as well as strong customer loyalty and have had incredible success.”

“A nice example of a local business giving back is Combilift,” says Brid O’Connell. “Combilift is a specialist forklift and straddle carrier manufacturer based in Monaghan which has grown, since being established in 1998, to become the global leader in the long-load handling market. Through their success, they’ve been a real supporter of the local community in Gallinagh.”
