Whether you desire a night in luxurious surroundings, a fun-filled family getaway, a round of golf or the perfect location to plan your special day, The Dark Hedges Estate is where it all begins

Attracting thousands of tourists every week, the Dark Hedges is one of the most photographed locations in the world. Being only a stone’s throw from the Hedges themselves, the Dark Hedges Estate is the perfect destination to complete the experience. This unrivalled, 300-acre estate is a great location for families, solo travellers and golf enthusiasts to stay and explore the surrounding area.

For an overnight stay on the estate, the 16-bedroom Hedges Hotel offers modern and spacious rooms, an exceptional service and delicious local cuisine in the traditional Scullery Bar and Restaurant. This family-friendly hotel has its very own mystical Fairy Trail. Here the kids can explore the enchanted woodland in search of fairy homes. For fun seasonal activities, overnight stay offers and Game of Thrones® tours, check out the Dark Hedges Estate Facebook page, @thehedgescomplex.

The Dark Hedges Estate would not be complete without the delicious food at the Belltower Restaurant. Ranked frequently on TripAdvisor as one of the top two out of 32 restaurants in the area, the Belltower takes traditional cooking values and gives them a modern twist. The Dark Hedges Estate’s selection of local dishes are prepared by their talented chefs using the best, most delicious produce they can find, from as close by as possible.

The Belltower Restaurant is known for a little more than just food. The popular restaurant has become a tourist attraction for Game of Thrones® fans. With the Dark Hedges featuring in the world-famous TV show, fans visit the Belltower to see the seventh Game of Thrones® door that has been carved from the fallen beech trees of the Dark Hedges.

The estate also includes a pristine 18-hole golf course, surrounded by ancient woodland and dotted with a variety of lakes and ponds. Gracehill Golf Course is an American-style course designed by Frank Ainsworth, and remains one of the most challenging courses in the country.

A grand estate would not be complete without a Georgian manor. The historic Gracehill House used to be home to the Stewart family who planted the world famous Dark Hedges over 100 years ago. The house is currently under renovation and will open as a bespoke 13-bedroom hotel in 2018.
