- Margaret Canning

ADUBLINPRandsocial media agency has said the uncertainty caused by Brexit helped prompt a decision to go into partnership with Belfast firm ASG & Partners.

The agencies are to work together on certain projects but are not merging.

“We see a big opportunity with an all-island approach for brands and organisations going forward, especially with the uncertainty of Brexit,” said Emma Kelly, managing director of Elevate PR in Dublin 2.

“There is great synergy between the approach of both agencies and we collaborate well.

“Belfast and Dublin are two dynamic, inspiring cities and the time is right for us to work in partnership with ASG.”

Vicki Caddy, director of PR at ASG, said: “We are working hard to offer our clients an unrivalled and tight-knit network of bestin-class specialists, and with Brexit on the horizon, and the obvious impact it will have on business across the island of Ireland, our partnership with Elevate will further strengthen our offering, both here and in the Republic.”

ASG & Partners employs around 40 people at its agency on Belfast’s Holywood Road. Clients include Queen’s University, Marks & Spencer and Foyleside and Forestside Shopping Centres.

Elevate PR is based on Leeson Street Lower in Dublin. Clients include shoe brand Fitflop and drinks brands Schweppes and Peroni.
