Red-hot Regan keeps Royals on upward curve

-

MEATH 1-24 LONDON 1-14

MEATH can begin to contemplate back-to-back promotions after making it two wins from two in Division 2A with a comfortable victory in Ruislip.

Last year’s Division 2B champions were never under serious threat from an Exiles team still bearing the scars of a 20-point hammering by Kerry.

Jack Regan was again to the fore for the Royal County, the Kiltale midfielder following up his 13-point haul against Kildare by helping himself to 0-10 here.

He was well supported by Paddy Conneely, with James Toher and James Kelly also impressing.

The Meath backline, marshalled by Damien Healy and Darragh Kelly, reduced London to living off scraps.
