Period heritage reflected in property design

Terenure Gate, Terenure, Dublin 6

-

THE second phase of Terenure Gate just outside Terenure Village in D6 was released back in September 2017 and designed to appeal to deep-pocketed local downsizers.

The development, first launched last spring, is nestled just off Terenure Road West, opposite Greenlea Road. Of the 13 properties that comprise the second phase, seven are still for sale.

One of the remaining homes is a three-bed duplex spanning 1,389 sq ft that’s priced from €595,000.

Two are from the A-type end-of-terrace style and come with 2,000 sq ft of space: one of these costs from €870,000, while the second is priced from €895,000 because it overlooks the central green space. The latter style can be used as a three-bed home with a study.

Also on offer is a mid-terrace home from the development’s B house type: it’s a four-bed/ three-bed-plus-study house measuring 1,679 sq ft and costing from €785,000. The remaining three houses cost between €795,000 and €810,000 because they front on to the green. Terenure Gate is being built by developer Laurence Keegan of Kimpton Vale, on a site that was once home to a 19th-century Presentation convent. The site’s period heritage is reflected in the design of the properties. Heating at the A-rated properties is provided by a condensing gas boiler.

Terenure Gate is on view tomorrow, from

11am to 12pm. Enquiries to: DNG New Homes
