Homes will score points with buyers

Moyglare Hall, Maynooth, Co Kildare

-

MOYGLARE Hall, a development set amid the meadows near Lyreen River in Maynooth, just a few minutes’ walk from the university, will see a new release of four-bed semi-detached homes this weekend.

Multiple phases have been completed since Mycete Homes and North City Builders Ltd first began building on the site in 2005. Construction has started on a new cul-de-sac of 30 homes positioned at a new vehicular entrance to the scheme opposite the local GAA club.

Six of those properties go on sale tomorrow, when they will be marketed by a new four-bed semi showhouse. Each of the six homes measures 1,600 sq ft and costs from €450,000.

The façade of each house is finished in Butterly brick and complemented by hardwood double-glazed windows with security locks, paved front driveways, and rear gardens surrounded by walls.

The homes come with fitted kitchens and wardrobes, a master ensuite, and a fireplace with a working chimney in the sitting room. The houses, which are laid out around landscaped open green spaces, were designed to have a building energy rating of A3, thanks to energy-saving features such as solar panels to generate hot water and PV panels to top up electricity supplies.

Children won’t have too far to go to school — two secondary schools are being constructed on land adjoining the development. Maynooth is close to large employers such as Intel and Hewlett Packard and, traffic permitting, it’s a 25-minute drive to the centre of Dublin.

The new showhouse is on view tomorrow and Sunday, between 2.30pm and 4pm.
