“No two Adams & Butler travel experiences are alike – because each client and every brief is unique”

Founded in 2002 in Dublin by Siobhan Byrne Learat, Adams & Butler extended its offering of highend bespoke holidays in Ireland and the UK to destinations around the world in the past year.

The excursions Adams & Butler arranges for clients can be anything from a private stay at a castle, personally hosted by an Irish earl, to spending a day with African warriors of the Samburu Boma village in Kenya. It can also arrange exclusive private property rentals around the world.

“No two Adams & Butler travel experiences are alike – because each client and every brief is unique,” says Byrne Learat. “We handcraft each journey meticulously, starting from scratch. The ideas we come up with show our clients a place from a refreshingly different perspective.”

Some high profile clients over the years have included Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, Harrison Ford, Nicholas Cage, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as well as governors, ministers, and CEOs of top blue-chip companies. “We provide insider access to politicians, the aristocracy, authors and specialists in their fields as part of our clients’ itineraries,” says Byrne Learat.

Becoming a supplier member of the travel consortia networks Virtuoso, Travel Leaders, Ensemble and Traveller Made has been instrumental in building Adams & Butler’s international profile. Currently employing 12 people, it is the first and only Irish company to be listed by Virtuoso as well as media company Condé Nast and Travel + Leisure magazine as a top agent worldwide.

Adams & Butler has recently started to tap into the growing “eco-luxe” movement by designing new ethical options for clients to avail of. “Many of our clients are very conscious of sustainability. When spending money on an expensive holiday, they feel better if they know it is going to good use,” says Byrne Learat.

“We can now offer exclusive stays at some of the top eco-luxe resorts and hotels on the planet, including private solarpowered island resorts and hidden gems in wilderness reserves. Engagement in local projects can also be arranged. This gives our clients the chance to experience real culture and participate in activities such as volunteering which could change the way they see the world.”
