An eye for luxury

Revolve Marketing and PR positions itself as committed, resourceful and innovative, with a clear focus on the retail sector

Afull-service public relations (PR), marketing, branding and event planning agency, Revolve Marketing and PR offers premium services to luxury brands within the fashion, beauty, travel, lifestyle and hospitality industries.

Jenny Cullen, managing director at Revolve, has a clear objective: “Our role is to make our clients’ products or service become an object of desire for the customer. We communicate the message to the client’s customers and we help to grow the client’s bottom line.”

Cullen started the agency 14 years ago in Dublin, having gained considerable marketing and PR experience in L’Oréal. Her original focus on the beauty arena quickly expanded when she saw the opportunties in the fashion, food and drink sectors. Revolve now has a diverse and distinguished client list, including Thomas Sabo, Mango, Triton Showers and Accessories, Tiger, Helen McAlinden and Revlon.

Cullen believes Revolve provides a particularly strong service in areas such as media management, brand building, campaign execution, social media and influencer management.

However, in her view, what makes its offering stand out is the company’s clear focus on fulfilling clients’ specific PR and marketing needs. “Our team meets with the client to ensure we fully understand the business. We do a deep dive in PR terms. Effectively, we become part of our client’s company,” she explains.

Revolve is always assessing its impact on clients’ businesses, relying heavily on client feedback to grow and evolve. Its direct approach and commitment has really paid off, with some clients staying on for 10 years or more.

Cullen laughs at the perception of the profession as a glamorous one. “Our success is down to persistence and hard work. This could be trekking around massive trade shows to spot prospective clients, or keeping a close eye on the business pages to know what’s coming next,” she says. “Business doesn’t just happen. We carefully support exisiting customers in every way, while always thinking about attracting new business”.

Revolve set up an office in London four years ago to so it could assist UK-based clients to grow in Ireland. It looks after the press office, event management and social media functions for French home kitchen appliance designer and manufacturer De Dietrich in Ireland.

With Brexit looming, Revolve Marketing and PR is well positioned to play to its strengths as it continues to identify opportunties with both companies and distributors.
