Fit-again Bleyendaal back to boost Munster’s chances in top-of-the-table clash with Glasgow

TYLER BLEYENDAAL’S first start since October is a big boost for Munster as they look to bounce back from a poor performance in Cardiff last weekend.

With a Champions Cup quarter-final looming large, Bleyendaal’s return to full fitness gives his side more of a cutting edge.

Johannvan Graanhas responded to the dreadful display in Wales by making 12 changes as he looks for a response against a tabletopping Glasgow side who are 16 points clear of Munster in Conference ‘A’ and have only lost once in the PRO14 this season.

“I had a good look at them – an all-round good squad, they play positive rugby and will put you under pressure” Munster’s head coach said.

“I think this match is about us, we have our own standards and we want to improve on the game last weekend.”

Simon Zebo will play at Irish Independent Parkfora final time before joining Racing next season and the Cork native will want to go out on a high.

James Hart hasn’t quite made an impression since arriving from Zebo’s soon-tobe new French club, and the scrum-half has a big opportunity here to prove a point.

Munster’s clashes with Glasgow have been feisty affairs in recent seasons, and while it is disappointing to have another top PRO14 clash taking place during the Six Nations, there is still enough quality on show.

Home advantage may just edge it in Munster’s favour. Verdict: Munster
