Coastal location will appeal to Kinsale buyers
Kinsale Manor, Kinsale, Co Cork
SOME 800 househunters — and the downright curious — descended on the west Cork tourist town of Kinsale at the end of the summer for the launch of Kinsale Manor, the first large housing scheme to be built in the upmarket coastal spot for years.
All the 36 three-bed homes in the first phase were sold, so the selling agent is releasing 22 more homes tomorrow. When the development is finished, it will comprise 136 three and four-bed homes. The second phase of the Gannon Homes scheme is made up of three-bed semi-detached properties, each measuring 1,206 sq ft and costing from €330,000. Each home features both a separate sitting room and an open-plan kitchen/ living room, as well as a curved feature wall in the hallway. All the bedrooms on the first floor come with built-in wardrobes. The contemporary-style fitted kitchen is supplied by Express Kitchens, while the bathrooms and ensuites are fitted with heated towel rails and extensive tiling.
The concrete-built homes are traditional in style, with the white plaster finish. Each house has a private cobble-lock driveway for two cars, while the back garden has a patio area. The A3-rated homes are among the most energy efficient in the area. Viewings of the two showhouses will be held between 2pm and 4pm tomorrow and Sunday.
