Finding the time to reach out

■ Thank you to Storm Emma for giving us time to step out of the madness we call life for a few days.

A moment to draw breath and realise that community, neighbourhood, reaching out to others and caring is far more important than the rat race.

Even though the shelves were empty and resources limited, even though the banks closed and the stock exchange fell silent, Ireland and its community of people found life to reach out and care.
