FURLONG AND HENDERSON FIT FOR SCOTS CLASH

-

IRELAND are expected to recall Tadhg Furlong and Iain Henderson to their side for Saturday’s Six Nations clash with Scotland after both were declared fit to play yesterday, writes RUAIDHRI O’CONNOR.

The duo trained fully at Carton House, according to assistant coach Simon Easterby, meaning they have overcome their hamstring issues and come into selection contention.

While Andrew Porter and Devin Toner deputised well for the injured duo in the win over Wales, they are likely to make way for the pivotal penultimate Six Nations clash. Garry Ringrose is in line to come in for the injured Chris Farrell for the Aviva Stadium encounter.
