Armagh book final spot

ROYAL SCHOOL ARMAGH will face Campbell College in the final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Cup at Kingspan on Monday, March 19 after securing a 26-22 against reigning champions RBAI yesterday.

RBAI, the holders for the last three seasons, were outplayed by an Armagh side that took an early 14-point lead with the help of the strong wind.

The Belfast team came back to 10-14 by the interval but with their pack to the fore, the Armagh side opened up an 11-point advantage.

RBAI never really got into the encounter until the final minutes when Armagh had to defend stoutly and hold on for a deserved success.
