PLANT A PERENNIAL HERB GARDEN

It’s a joy be able to pick your own herbs for free. Choose a sunny site with good drainage or grow in pots by the kitchen door. Mint is best kept in a pot so it doesn’t take over the garden but it will need regular watering. Grow golden oregano for pizzas, chives for salads, bay leaves, thyme and sage for stews, and lemon balm and mint for summer drinks.
