Helicopter ditches in river
A HELICOPTER carrying several people ditched into New York City’s East River last night.
Emergency divers were in the water around the partially submerged aircraft.
There was no immediate word on any injuries or deaths. A local news station reported that one person was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. Video showed the craft landing in the river before overturning.
