IT will be a Galway v Armagh final in the O’Neill’s All-Ireland 40x20 Senior Singles championship on St Patrick’s Day after Martin Mulkerrins and Charly Shanks advanced in Saturday’s semi-finals.

Reigning champion Shanks survived a gruelling 11-21, 21-12, 21-15 marathon against Clare’s Diarmaid Nash as Mulkerrins turned on the style with a 21-11, 21-1 win over Cork’s Brendan Fleming.

Cork’s Cathriona Casey will put her title on the line against Limerick’s Martina McMahon after their semi-final victories over Kilkenny’s Ciara Mahon and Antrim’s Aisling Reilly respectively.
