TYRONE 2-21 LONGFORD 1-14

AN inspiring performance from Tyrone’s Damien Casey helped his team to victory over Longford at Pearse Park yesterday.

Patrick Walsh raised the green flag for the home side with just three minutes played, while Joe O’Brien found the target from a close-range free.

The visitors hit back through Bryan McGurk, who found the Longford net. Tyrone’s Damien Casey duly obliged from every opportunity from placed balls and when Pierse O’Kelly netted their second goal there was no way back for Longford.
