UCD students fly flag for Ireland in finance challenge
Students from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School will represent Ireland at the CFA Institute Research Challenge Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) finals, which for the first time will be held in Ireland, taking place next month in the Convention Centre, Dublin. Thirty-seven EMEA teams will be fighting for places in the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute’s global final in Kuala Lumpur this year. UCD beat strong competition from five other universities after each team’s investment report and presentation on Ireland’s largest public company, CRH, were scrutinised by senior investment professionals in Ireland.
