League decider set for St Patrick’s Day

THE men’s Super League play-off between Pyrobel Killester and UCD Marian will take place this Saturday at 6.0 at the National Basketball Arena.

Pyrobel Killester face UCD Marian after the teams finished joint-first at the top of the table with 17 wins and five losses.

After his side’s win over Éanna on Sunday evening in the last game of the regular season, Killester’s Brian O’Malley said: “Playing UCD again – both coaching staff and teams know the others inside out, there won’t be too many secrets. We won the first, then they won one, then we won.”

Tickets for the game can be purchased on the door for €7, with free entry for children U-16.
