AUTOMOTIVE data experts ca ph pi have come up with a list of cars that hold their value better than most. I don’t agree with some.

Of course, values vary a lot from market to market.

So let me know if you think your car is a deprecatio­n buster or has shed value like melting snow.

Here’s a top 13 from the UK according to Mark Bulmer, Black Book editor at cap hpi: Ford Ka plus, Dacia Sandero Stepway, Audi A1, Porsche Macan, Toyota C-HR, Ford Focus RS, Mercedes CLA coupe, Honda Civic, Volkswagen California, Lexus IS 300h, Peugeot 3008 1.2 Puretech Active, Suzuki Ignis 1.2 Dualjet SZ3 and Dacia Duster 1.6 115 (that’s two Dacias).

Nissan and Tayto Park have combined to open the country’s first driving school for children. A purposebui­lt, road-marked traffic course at the Nissan Driving School gives young people the chance to learn the rules of the road and test their driving skills — before they leave with their own ‘driving licence’. It opens on Saturday, March 24 next.
