Netflix has secured the rights to this four-part documentar­y chroniclin­g the unlikely rise of record industry moguls Dr Dre (left) and Jimmy Iovine, who would together make the Beats brand one of the most inescapabl­e in music. Dre grew up amid the gang warfare and police violence of Compton, Los Angeles, while Iovine’s father was a Long Island docks worker.
