D14’s Washington monument
WASHINGTON Park, a cul-de-sac estate running north from Butterfield Avenue towards the River Dodder in Dublin 14, was built in the 1950s.
Naturally enough, considering the era and the fact that this part of Rathfarnham was then relatively rural, all the houses came with garages.
