Opportunity knocks as just three homes left in Fottrell

Fottrell Hall, Castleknock, Dublin 15

-

LAST week’s launch at Fottrell Hall in Castleknock is a testament to how the other half live: despite the small scheme’s nine five-bed homes commanding prices exceeding €1m, all but three were booked straight away.

Developed by Mariaville Homes, the scheme is situated in a cul-de-sac off the Carpenterstown Road. It’s named after the Fottrell family, who once owned about 100 acres on Carpenterstown Road and lived at a property called Gragarnagh. The latter house was eventually demolished to make way for Fottrell Hall.

The development consists of detached and semi-detached five-bed homes. All the remaining three fivebeds span a whopping 3,100 sq ft each. Two are detached homes, with one being the fully furnished showhouse, which costs from €1.29m, and the other selling for €1.170m. The third, a fivebed semi-detached style, is available at €1.07m.

The exterior finishes incorporate brick and granite, with slate to the roof and triple-glazed Scandinavian pine Aluclad windows from Carlson Windows.

Inside, the entrance hallway has wooden panelling and double doors to the kitchen/diner/sunroom. The kitchen, which has bespoke in-frame solid wood doors, is from Gallagher Kitchens’s Austin Collection.

The entire ground floor has underfloor heating. The sanitaryware and tiling in the contemporary-style bathrooms and ensuites are all from Villeroy & Boch, while Gallaghers also supplied the fitted bedroom wardrobes.

Viewings tomorrow and Sunday, from 2pm to 5pm. Enquiries to: Flynn & Associates (01) 8211311
