Ireland women to face US in November

IRELAND’s women will take on the United States at Energia Park in November and will play at least one more Test during the autumn window.

The US are on a three-match tour of Europe and will visit the Donnybrook venue in a game that will help prepare the team for the 2019 Six Nations.

“It’s great to have the USA travelling over for this fixture – they’re a top team so it will be a good test for our side,” coach Adam Griggs said.

“There were lots of positives to take from this year’s Women’s Six Nations, and we’ll be looking to build on these this November and take the additional learnings into the 2019 Women’s Six Nations.”
